This project presented a number of engineering challenges. To safely dismantle the existing bridge, our team installed scaffolding above the river, creating a secure working platform. This allowed us to carry out demolition safely while ensuring the river remained completely uncontaminated, protecting the local environment throughout the process.
Following the removal, bespoke reinforced walls were designed and installed to support a new GRP walkway, providing safe and durable access for residents and business users. Every step of the project was carefully planned and executed, from demolition to the installation of the new structure, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum safety.
