Coach Maintenance Building in Stanley, County Durham
Stanley Travel are a long established coach company based in Stanley. When they bought a new site to give them more space, they asked us to design and build a maintenance building for their coaches.
This was a full design and build. We installed the column base support pads and a 150mm reinforced concrete floor slab, then put up an 18m x 9m cold rolled steel building with 6m eaves, tall enough to drive a coach straight in through a large industrial roller shutter in the front gable.
The Finish
The building is clad in KS1000rw 40mm Goosewing Grey composite panels, with Merlin Grey flashings and gutters to contrast. The composite panels keep the workshop insulated for the mechanics working inside.
