One of the key initial considerations was a nearby sewer which ran alongside the extension. The location of the sewage system meant that the groundwork design was complex and challenging.

For this project, it was important that our team caused minimal disruption to the site, which is operational 7 days a week.

There was no margin for error on this development and the design of the extension needed to be precise.

Once the design was approved and the site survey had been conducted by ourselves and Northumbria Water, our team arrived to carry out the specialist groundwork working through the night to power float the floor slab.

The cold-rolled steel building was quickly and efficiently erected by our experienced installation team, including a cut-back design to match the existing unit.
