HARROW STREET BRIDGE
Concrete piers installed in Shiremoor
We were recently asked by our client, North Tyneside Council, to install new concrete piers on a railway pedestrian bridge in Shiremoor.
The works were completed as part of the council’s efforts to make the railway network more sustainable, better equipped, and safer for pedestrians.
The local authority is focused on enhancing the infrastructure of Harrow Street Bridge as part of its commitment to making the borough carbon net zero by 2030.
For structures with damaged foundations, concrete piers are an extremely effective and eco-friendly method for repair. They cause minimum disruption to the soil and therefore work perfectly to sustainably revamp existing structures.
These complex piers for the pedestrian bridge were installed to the highest of standards by our team. We are always happy to go above and beyond to help our valued clients at North Tyneside Council.
