FREE SPIRIT AUTOMOTIVE EXTENSION
Automotive Workshop Steel Building Extension
We recently completed a bespoke project for Free Spirit Automotive, involving the supply and installation of a steel building extension to expand their existing automotive workshop.

The extension was designed to integrate seamlessly with the existing building, both structurally and visually. By using a cold rolled steel frame, allowing for efficient installation while delivering long term durability and performance.
As part of the works, new groundwork elements were required to accommodate. This involved preparing the foundations and installing reinforced concrete floor areas designed to support the equipment and ensure the building met the required operational standards.
Throughout the project, our team worked closely with engineers and Building Control to ensure all works were carried out in line with the relevant regulations. Careful planning was required to ensure the extension complied with both fire conditions and structural safety requirements while also allowing the workshop to remain functional during the build process.
We also removed an existing PA door and installed a new industrial roller shutter door into the existing building for a seamless look.
Thanks to the experience of our team in steel building design, project management, and coordination with external specialists, we successfully delivered a high-quality extension that provides Free Spirit Automotive with a larger, more efficient workshop space to support their growing business.
